Energy dependence of high-moments of net-proton distributions at RHIC
 
Content: RHIC has started a beam energy scan program to explore the QCD phase diagram and to search for the QCD critical point. Critical behavior is expected to be visible in high-order moments of distributions of conserved quantities, like the net-proton distributions. High-order moments can be directly related to the corresponding thermodynamical susceptibilities and have been predicted by Lattice-QCD calculations. In this talk we will analyze the energy dependence of net-proton distributions from Au+Au collisions ranging from 200 GeV to lower energies.
