Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to inform you that the 7th International Conference on Physics and Astrophysics of Quark Gluon Plasma (ICPAQGP - 2015) will be held in Kolkata, India during 2 -6 February 2015.
The Conference will include a Student Day on Sunday, 1 February 2015.
The Conference webpage has been updated with information on Abstract submission, Registration, Support, Accommodation and Visa. Please visit the Conference website to complete all the formalities and to book accommodation. Early booking of accommodation is desirable.

Abstract Submission: November 1, 2014
Registration: November 15, 2014
Registration and Conference Fees
The registration and payment of the registration fees can be accessed from the Conference website.
Registration deadline is November 15, 2014, after which late fees will be aplicable. Timely registration is desirable.
Scientific Program and Abstract Submission
The scientific program of the Conference will consist of plenary and parallel talks as well as posters. Contributions for the parallel talks and posters are invited by October 24, 2014. Decisions on the acceptance will be intimated shortly after.
Student Day
The Student Day will be held on 1 February 2015. It will consist of invited review talks by renowned researchers in the field.
Financial Support for Young Participants
Limited support is available for students and young researchers. Those interested to avail the support - please click on the Support and follow the link to fill up the required information. In addition, a reference letter from the Supervisor should be sent by e-mail: [email protected] mentioning on the subject line: "Support, student's name". Deadline for request for support is October 17, 2014.
Accommodations
Organizers have negotiated with a few selected hotels near the venue of the conference for special rates for the participants of the conference. Participants need to book the hotel by following the links given in the webpage. Some other low cost hotels and guest houses will be added to the list in due course.
Travel to Kolkata
Kolkata is well connected to all major cities of the world.
Visa information
Most of the foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter India. Moreover, to enter the Conference venue at VECC campus, a BUSINESS VISA is mandatory. We recommend that you apply for visa at your nearest Indian Embassy / Indian Consulate. You will need an invitation letter for processing the visa. We will be happy to provide the invitation letter.
