Overview Superconductivity plays an important role in modern scientific applications starting from modern accelerators to medical diagnostics. It has great potential in future electrical systems to minimize losses and increase efficiency in the system. A workshop on “Superconductivity and its Application in Electrical Systems (SAES ‐2015)” is planned at VECC Kolkata to discuss diverse application of superconductivity.
